ITALIAN EXHIBITION GROUP CONFIRMS ITS PARTICIPATION IN JCK LAS VEGAS WITH VICENZAORO ITALIAN PASSION.MADE WITH LOVE

Over 100 Top Jewellery Brands to showcase Italian excellence in high-end jewellery

 

Italian Exhibition Group confirms the winning International format VICENZAORO Italian Passion. Made with Love by renewing its participation in JCK Las Vegas – open from 5 to 8 June 2017 at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino – with over 100 top brands showcasing Italian excellence in jewellery.

 

The event, born out of a longstanding cooperation with JCK for over ten years now, has the primary objective of representing the quality, craftsmanship, creativity and values of Italian jewellers and goldsmiths.

 

By taking part in JCK Las Vegas – the leading event in North America and amongst the most important in the industry at the international level – IEG will be making its know-how and expertise available to Italian companies in the sector, thereby fostering their entry into the main export market for the world of luxury goods. The event will therefore be a unique opportunity for the Italian jewellery and luxury industry, the United States being one of the main destinations for Italian jewellery exports, which in 2016 had a growth of 6.6% compared to 2015 (Sources: ISTAT, Italian national statistics institute).

 

At JCK, the Italian companies will have the opportunity to present their DNA consisting of innovation, creativity, design and craftsmanship to an audience of over 23,000 industry operators from over 40 countries.

 

The Italian pavilion – strategically positioned on the main floor of the event (Shoreline 2) – will be showcasing the brands with a sophisticated exposition using a coordinated image and a strong visual impact, consistent with the Italian style and refinement.

 

Internationally famous high jewellery and goldsmith brands will be representing Italian craftsmanship at JCK Las Vegas, including: Biancaspina, Chrisos, Fani Gioielli, Falcinelli, Giorgio Visconti, Hasbani, Karizia, Leo Pizzo, Misis, Novecentonovantanove, Richline and Unoaerre. To complete the list of Italian companies, there will also be well-known companies in the packaging sector.

 

Contemporary jewels will not be the only protagonists of the space dedicated to VICENZAORO Italian Passion. Made with Love: the trends will be enhanced throughout the event, thanks to the independent global forecasting Observatory of jewels and luxury goods, TRENDVISION Jewellery + Forecasting and the new TREND BOOK 2018+, the benchmark publication for the world of goldsmiths and jewellers. Moreover, in this edition, TRENDVISION Jewellery + Forecasting will be organizing Buying trails, workshops for buyers in order to support them and guide them in their purchases in the business districts of interest. An intense promotional activity on digital channels has also been planned to foster the relationship and presence of international buyers at the event.

GOLD MARKET GROWING IN THE USA BUT DROPPING ON A GLOBAL SCALE

According to the World Gold Council, the demand for gold jewellery in the United States grew by 3%  in the first quarter, an important sign of consumer trust following the November elections, continuing the positive trend it had already been recording for several month.

Yellow gold is holding its own in the United States and in the medium-high bracket compared to a European market which, on the other hand, is still lukewarm. On a global scale, in fact, demand for gold was substantially stagnant in the first quarter, registering only a scanty +1%, equal to 480.9 tons. 
The increase in the price of gold probably contributed to the demand slow-down during the quarter. The price increase in the United States (with an average of $1,219.50 an ounce) between the end of December and the end of March, was counterbalanced by the weakness of the dollar during the same period, which not only stopped sales from slowing down, but also allowed them to grow.
Besides the United States, demand for gold jewellery in the first quarter also grew in India and Iran thanks to improved market conditions following a difficult year. In China, however, demand for gold jewellery decreased slightly due to a downturn in economic conditions and changing consumer trends. Chinese producers and sellers in the gold jewellery sector are trying to innovate in order to satisfy the tastes of younger generations and keep up with the latest trends. Europe also showed a minus sign in terms of gold jewellery sales due to the pre-electoral uncertainty in France and terrorist attacks in the United Kingdom, which have also impacted tourism.

THE ITALIAN TREND CARPET AT JCK LAS VEGAS SHOW

A new event to promote the Made-in-Italy style organized by ICE - Italian Trade Agency in partnership with Fiera di Vicenza

ICE - Italian Trade Agency, in collaboration with Fiera di Vicenza and Reed Exhibitions, during the JCK Las Vegas Show 2015 (May 29-June 1)has organized the Italian Trend Carpet Show, an Event promoted by the Italian Ministry of Economic Development with the aim to highlight the Made in Italy jewellery in the US market to Buyers, Opinion Leaders, Trend Setters and Media.

 

Confirming the common mission of Fiera di Vicenza and  Italian Trade Agency of promoting the Italian excellence and the Made-in-Italy style of the Italian jewellery brands, this big event (48 companies for the first time ever) will take place on May 29th from 6.00 pm to 7.30 pm at the South Seas Ballroom, Mandalay Bay Convention Center, the futuristic location where JCK Show is staged.

 

The Italian Trend Carpet Show will promote the distinctive elements of the Italian jewellery production in a worldwide scenario, offering the right visibility to all the 200 Italian companies present at JCK Las Vegas, Luxury Las Vegas and Couture, that has joined together for this great opportunity.

Fiera di Vicenza will feature its presence at the JCK Show Las Vegas with more than 120 top Italian brands exhibiting their prestigious collections inside its VICENZAORO Italian Passion, Made with Love pavilion, an international format created to showcase the quality, craftsmanship, creativity and values of Made in Italy jewellery.

Fiera di Vicenza’s VICENZAORO, the prestigious trade show brand dedicated to the world of gold and jewellery manufacture, once again confirms its leading position in the promotion of Made in Italy at North America’s leading jewellery trade event, which also is one of the most important worldwide.

For the Italian jewellery and luxury goods industries, the JCK Show Las Vegas is a well-established and uniquely effective platform, with the United States continuing to be one of its main export markets. In 2015 Italian jewellery exports to the U.S. market equalled 570 million euros, 13.5% more than the amount reported a year earlier (Source: Istat).
