Vicenza Underground: discovering Vicenza’s treasures

VIOFF – Golden Arts will be the ideal context to discover entirely the city of Vicenza, including even the most hidden and fascinating corners.
Vicenza Underground will take place on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th and proposes two guided tours through some of the most significant archaeological sites of the city.

The first tour will let the visitors explore the archaeological areas managed by Comune di Vicenza; Palazzo Chiericati’s hypogeum, the Nature and Archaeology Museum, Palazzo Trissino’s area and the “Corte dei Bissari”. The tours will start at 11 am, 2 pm and 3.30 pm both days and will last approximately 90 minutes. The price is set at 2 €.

The second tour focuses on the archaeological areas managed by Museo Diocesano; Piazza Duomo’s Roman cryptoporticus and the ancient area of the Cathedral. Visits will start at 9 am, 10 am, 3 pm and 4 pm and will last approximately 90 minutes. The price is set at 2 €.
